EDIT: Just thought I should update, this won 1st place!

WOOHOO! finally finished this! so happy!

This piece was supposed to be a vector, but it doesn't completely fill out the requirements so I had to put it here. This is for 's contest. All together it was a lot of fun to do! Its been a long time since I've drawn Naoko! and it was fun to work with angles and such.

On the left is Naoko Sanuba, she's my own character, a fox demon and an unofficial samurai (yeah, there weren't many female samurai, but try telling that to her ). Damn she's pale but she's supposed to be that way. Its been quite awhile since I've drawn her now that I've decided on her character design. She's got a tail in there somewhere, but for composition and balancing reasons in the picture, I decided not to show it, since her hair is the main focus on that half. Not her normal outfit, but it was fun to put her in something new! She is copyright to me

On the right is Azi, *KitsuneNekoTigi 's assassin character and her alter egoish thing. (naoko would be mine) She specified Azi's outfit in a lot of detail, and I did the best I could with the certain angles and such. She has long hair, but its in a wrap and you can't see it (for composition reasons mostly). I hope she likes it! It was a lot of fun to draw her character, it gave me good practice with eyes like that and nice working with fur Azi is copyrighted to *KitsuneNekoTigi

Time Spent: er... about a week and a half on and off, not everyday. all together about 30 hours.
Reference: a picture found on google for the pose. I didn't make it up so don't hit on me about stealing. I drew it by hand, just using the reference of that picture. if I can find it again, or find the artist, i'll gladly give them credit.
Program Used: Corel Painter and some Photoshop Elements 2.0 (not the best i know, but hey, its what i've got)

P.S. Behind them are blood spatters. Naoko's got a real taste for blood, she's an evil thing. Azi probably does too being an assassin So enjoy!
